Villa La Cedraia is an historic mansion surrounded by a centuries-old park overlooking the vineyards.
The villa is a prime example (registered in the Regional Census of historical earth constructions) of a load-bearing masonry wall house built with the rammed earth (pisè) technique, recently restored to its former glory using natural restoration methodologies with lime-based plasters and paints.
We don’t offer just a standard wine tasting in our cellar. Instead, Villa La Cedraia fully opens its gates for you, offering a dip into the past of Gavi wine cultivation. Once you enter through our gates, you’ll have a sensory wine experience in an enchanting atmosphere, with wine tasting accompanied by some of the most typical cuisine of the area.

Your experience begins with a stroll through the rows of the vineyard surrounded by the colorful hilly landscape
Your visit continues with a walk under the trees of the centuries-old park surrounding the mansion and overlooking the vineyard,
An exclusive visit awaits you at Villa La Cedraia, a late eighteenth-century mansion built with the ancient technique of rammed earth, including rooms with old-world vaulted ceilings and filled with antiques.
You will then have a sensory wine tasting experience, with a wine tasting session guided by the winemaker, who will present the characteristics and peculiarities of each wine you taste, how it is made, how it evolves over time and how to pair the wines with food.
You will be tasting three La Cedraia wines, the Gavi DOCG in its Classic and Selection labels and its sparkling BRUT variant, paired with some traditional food samples from the surrounding area (Novese stretched focaccia, salami from Monterotondo cured with Gavi, Montebore cheese); the best way to conclude your visit that enhances the fine wines with delicious foods. We are sure that you will taste and feel the passion, love and expertise embodied in our wines and local Italian cuisine.
At the end of the tasting session, you can purchase the La Cedraia wines directly in the Wine Shop and if you want, we can have them delivered to you at home.
